What Are The Possible Side Effects Of Alimta®?

Alimta® (pemetrexed for injection) is a chemotherapy drug that is used to treat malignant pleural mesothelioma. It is common for Alimta® to be used with another chemotherapy drug called cisplatin during these treatments. As with most chemotherapy treatments, patients usually experience side effects. Some side effects will be present throughout the treatment cycle and others tend to be more apparent during the days following the individual treatments.
